The Loxahatchee River District is a waste-water treatment facility that is the leading authority on The Loxahatchee River. The River Center is a public installation with the mandate to provide the general public an opportunity to learn about Florida’s first federally designated Wild and Scenic River. Pixel Focused, in conjuction with Visual Wave Design and Silicon Coast, designed and developed an interactive Flash presentation. The presentation is being used as a web component
and in a touch screen exhibit inside of the River Center. The goals of the presentation were to provide a interactive medium that visitors would use to learn more about the river and animals that are apart of it’s environment. The River Center now has a unique and resourceful tool to introduce itself to the visitors. It has been designed to be consistent with the unique architecture of the River Center itself.
